It is said, due to land conversion of peat swamp forests into oil palm Tripa from Singkil hingg Nagan Raya district, orangutan population continues to shrink, because their habitat has been tampered with irresponsible people.
Therefore, he advised the Ministry of Forestry to recommend the re-forestation and forest peat swamp tripa mancabut land clearing permits which have been awarded the Governor of Aceh Irwandi dikepemimpinan Yusf / M Nazar on August 25, 2011.
"Once the permit is revoked, this tripa swamp area should be a protected area outside the forest area in accordance with the national spatial planning," he said.
